Surviving in this Economy

Salt Creek Finishing is so much more than just a Painting Co. We have expanded in several different areas in our field.

In the past we focused on our primary business which for over 20 years was Residential New Construction. We handled the full aspect of painting and wood finishing in a home. With the downturn in the housing market we have had to try to re-invent ourself and still stay doing what we love and know.

Repaints, Refinishing cabinets and our Re-Kindled line of vintage furniture along with the new construction projects is the way of the times.

With all that said I love my furniture. Finding the perfect piece then transforming it into something new and fresh. We found this Edison Phonograph #17 at a thrift store that if it was in great shape would be considered and collectable antique, the past history on this one was not so kind. It's pretty beat up as you can see in the photo not much to be disired. We have completely taken it apart and Re-Kindling it in a fresh modern look that anyone would love to have as a conversation piece in their home or office.

Right now it is being primed and refinished with a black interior and a lime green exterior. Which matches the original color of the turn table. I can't wait for this one to be finished. IT's going to be a hot item. I will post progress photos as we go.

I am excited to announce we will be selling our Re-Kindled line at Not Too Shabby in Old Town Folsom, Ca. So stop by and check out our treasures.
